Fans praise EXO members D.O. and Xiumin for 'Return: The Promise of the Day' performance

EXO fans took their joy and excitement to Twitter upon seeing members D.O. and Xiumin once again onstage doing what they love the most --- performing.

The hashtags, “Kyungsoo,” “Minseok, “ “ActorDohReturn,” and “XiuminReturnToStage” took over the top four spots of the social media site as the two South Korean idols take turns at performing their characters in Return: The Promise of the Day.

Fans felt kilig seeing their idols for the first time in a long while since Xiumin and D.O.'s enlistment last May 7, 2019, and July 1, 2019, respectively.

Return: The Promise of the Day is an original army musical tells the story of Seung Ho, a military veteran, who searches for the remains of his comrades who died in battle during the Korean War. As he discovers their remains, scenes from the present-day and the young Seung Ho alternately play throughout the musical.

D.O. played the young Seung Ho while Xiumin played the main character's grandson Hyun Min.
